Nearby Carlton Hill, once the stomping ground of Hume and the favourite viewing point of Edinburgh's enlightenment elite, is now a gay cruising point.

There's the home of international law, modern surgery, economics, geology, the modern state, the philosophy behind the US constitution, the tolerance to let this all happen, and now as another new development, a middle aged student American blogger who pretended to be an Arab lesbian.
